First, we will create a digital mockup of how and where the panels will sit on your roof. This will show the size and type of panels you need, and precisely how many.
DESIGN VERIFICATION AKA SITE SURVEY
The next step will be checking out your roof! This involves taking measurements, ensuring that it is structurally sound, and confirming how many solar panels will be needed based on your original design.
PERMIT
Now that we know exactly how the panels will be applied to your property, you will need permission to install from your local government. Don’t worry – we will help you obtain the necessary permits.
INSTALL
The time has come! Your solar panels are being installed. The solar install team will come to your residence and start applying the panels to your roof. The amount of time spent on applying said panels varies depending on your roof’s needs, but should not take more than a few days.
METER SWAP
Post-install, a meter swap will be made from your current utility’s standard model to your new net metering system. Around this time, you will also receive an inspection by the Department of Buildings. Once you pass that, congratulations! You’re now living that solar life.
